Goodies Galore

Well today, my sister made the absolute best dessert — Cheesecake with Strawberry topping. It was wonderful. I asked her to make this cheesecake for Abbey a coworker of mine. It is her birthday this Saturday and her favorite is cheesecake. Abbey’s thoughts: “Ahh… heaven!”

So, this seems to be a silly blog post but I figured since Audra is so kind to donate her time to make us desserts that I would give her a plug too. She dreams of opening a Bakery. We don’t live in a big “city” so sometimes things like Bakeries don’t last. But I think if she does things right that she could make it work here. She has already decided on a business name and everything. Goodies Galore! I think it is great, she took her time deciding and being her sister with design ability I am supposed to complete her business identity.

Right now, Audra does some baking for friends she knows and for the friends of friends. From what I have seen she does the simplest things starting with baking some cookies to wedding cakes. If you are interested in having some Goodies Galore for a get together or a party just leave a comment with an email address and I will be glad to pass it on to her.

And for the record, anyone on a “diet” at work here has totally not stuck to it. Earlier this week we got Chocolate Cake! She is bitter sweet!
