Need for Read!

Okay so for the last few years I have just been downright preoccupied. Yes, I know that everyone is busy and surely, no one else is busier than the next. So, why does this bother me? I love to read, or should I say that I used to love to read… No, I do love to read but I have fallen into this habit of letting it put me to sleep.

I tried the reverting to Internet reading but I cannot bring myself to “read” at night when I get home and that type of reading in the bed at night is the one that I was using to get to sleep. I was so busy doing my necessary reading for schooling and work that I was just pushing aside this stack of books that have a stack of dust on top of them. My getaway is getting away. Solution = stop making excuses and just do the reading thing the old way — just read.

I am not a resolution person but here it goes, my intent this year is to finish more than one book (that I read on a three day vacation) that I am reading for mere enjoyment. I have a collection right now and I am currently “into” three books. Of course, my husband just does not seem to understand the three book-reading thing, but I have moods. He surely questions why I buy another and another when I have not finished the one, two, okay five before that. I will get to them My Dear I promise.

Anyway, that is the goal, to read!
